POSEIDON

Maritime assurance scenario suite for degraded C2, PNT and distributed ISR.

POSEIDON is a Resolvix maritime simulation and validation environment for testing how autonomous and distributed maritime systems behave when communications, positioning, custody and mission context degrade.

It is not a weapon system. It is not a strike platform. It is a controlled scenario environment for validating trust, message continuity and mission-state assurance in maritime operating contexts.

Why POSEIDON

Maritime operations expose the trust problem.

Maritime autonomous and distributed systems often operate across long ranges, intermittent communications, contested positioning, relay-dependent networks, distributed sensors and degraded operator visibility.

POSEIDON provides a structured environment for testing whether Resolvix technology can preserve message continuity, trust-state evidence and bounded mission behaviour under those conditions.

What POSEIDON Tests

Test questions.

  • 01Can messages remain fresh and continuous when links degrade?
  • 02Can nodes rejoin without custody ambiguity?
  • 03Can the system detect stale or replayed command context?
  • 04Can mission state remain coherent under degraded PNT?
  • 05Can operators see which evidence is trusted, stale, degraded or contradictory?
  • 06Can AURM-NET and HOLDFAST support bounded mission behaviour in maritime scenarios?
Scenario Families

Five baseline maritime scenarios.

Scenario 1

Maritime C2 degradation

A distributed maritime mission experiences intermittent relay loss, rising latency and packet degradation. HOLDFAST is evaluated for message continuity and AURM-NET is evaluated for command freshness, custody and mission-state confidence.

Scenario 2

Contested PNT and navigation ambiguity

A maritime autonomous system receives degraded or conflicting positioning evidence. AURM-NET evaluates position confidence, trajectory coherence and mission-state trust before downstream systems act on the state change.

Scenario 3

Node isolation and rejoin

A maritime node is isolated during a mission and later rejoins the network. HOLDFAST evaluates continuity and rejoin behaviour while AURM-NET evaluates custody continuity, freshness and whether the node state remains coherent.

Scenario 4

Distributed ISR confidence degradation

Multiple maritime sensors and relay nodes produce partial, delayed or contradictory evidence. AURM-NET evaluates confidence, provenance and operator-review triggers.

Scenario 5

Operator-facing mission divergence

The same mission is replayed with and without Resolvix assurance layers to show how trust and continuity evidence affect mission-state confidence, escalation and bounded behaviour.

Scope

What POSEIDON does. What it does not.

What we do

  • Provide a controlled maritime scenario environment
  • Replay degraded RF, C2, PNT, custody and ISR conditions
  • Validate HOLDFAST continuity behaviour under maritime stress
  • Validate AURM-NET trust assessment in maritime contexts
  • Produce evidence packages for partner review

What we do not do

  • Design weapons or kinetic systems
  • Select targets or generate targeting recommendations
  • Control lethal effects or automate engagement decisions
  • Replace human command authority
  • Substitute for live RF, GNSS or field validation
Validation Status

Not yet claimed

Field validation, RF validation, GNSS anti-spoof validation, anti-jam validation, SDR validation, waveform validation, operational deployment or combat validation.

Claim Boundary

POSEIDON is a simulation and validation environment. It does not design weapons, select targets, provide targeting recommendations, control lethal effects, automate engagement decisions or replace human command authority.

Its purpose is to validate message continuity, trust-state assurance and mission-coherence evidence in maritime operating scenarios.
